Thomas Sundblad

Thomas Sundblad serves as the Head of Commodity Operations and compliance officer at E.ON Sverige since January 2022, leading operations related to clearing, settlement, regulatory compliance, and contract management for energy trading in the Nordic region. Prior to this role, Thomas held various positions, including Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at E.ON, focusing on regulatory capital frameworks and digitalization efforts. Thomas has extensive political experience as the Chairman of the Culture and Leisure Committee in Tyresö Municipality for Liberalerna, as well as serving in the municipal council and building committee. Thomas's earlier work includes capital regulatory affairs at Handelsbanken and coaching future handball leaders as a head coach for the Swedish Handball Federation. Educationally, Thomas holds a Master's degree in Financial Management from Södertörn University and a technical foundation year from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
