Vishal Bamba

Vishal Bamba has over two decades of experience in the technology industry. Vishal began their career in 1991 as a Programmer/Analyst at CMC Ltd. In 1993, they became a Project Lead at Buena Vista Home Entertainment - Walt Disney Company, where they were responsible for client server & web development for merchandising & forecasting. In 1998, they moved to System Development Group as a Principal Consultant, where they led the design and implementation of ASP. Net/SQL Server and classic ASP/COM applications. In 1999, they became the Chief Technologist at B2BHighway. In 2003, they joined Transamerica as Chief Architect / Director of Enterprise Architecture, where they drove the implementation of Life & Protection's Information Strategy, including Big Data, Cloud, Web/Mobile, CRM, Continuous Integration, Application Monitoring and Infrastructure. Vishal also won the TechFest "Best in Category" award for TechFest 2014 at Transamerica. In 2015, they became Vice President - Emerging Technology - Global Engineering & Architecture and Vice President Innovation & Architecture. In 2019, they joined E-Possible, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer and VP / Chief Cloud Architect, leading a cloud migration for an asset management and transportation client of a large legacy application to the Cloud. The solution utilizes a Serverless model utilizing Node. js, Angular, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, AWS Cognito, CloudFront.

Vishal Bamba's education history includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California between 1992 and 1995 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from VJTI. Vishal has also obtained several certifications, including R Programming from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera in 2015, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft in 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, Big Data and Hadoop from Edureka in 2014, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from AWS Elemental, an Amazon Web Services Company, IBM Certified Solution Developer from IBM, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer from Microsoft.
