Eric Pond

Eric is a native of Moon Township, Pennsylvania and has 16 years in the Information Technology field. Eric attended Robert Morris University and also worked at the University for 14 years holding various positions ranging from the desktop to the datacenter, of which the last position he held was Senior System Engineer. As a part of the E-Safe team, Eric holds the position of Virtualization Practice Manager. In this role, Eric assists customers to maximize and optimize their investment in existing virtualization technologies as well as leverage best practices and industry trends during the planning, design and implementation of new virtualization projects and the surrounding virtualization ecosystem. In addition to his time in the office, Eric is a founding leader of the Western PA VMware User Group (WPVMUG) which was established in early 2007. Eric has also been named as a vExpert for the last 5 years and is on the global VMUG Communications Committee.
