As Vice President of Global Affairs and Stakeholder Relations, Amy leads E-Space’s collaboration with governments, partners and NGOs around the world to secure market access and advance E-Space’s mission to Democratize Space. For the past three decades Amy has represented an array of innovative technology and telecommunications companies before international governmental bodies, the United States Congress, Federal Agencies and the Executive Branch. She is well-known and respected by government and business leaders as an effective, high-integrity advocate who helps leaders understand, anticipate and navigate the public policy environment and global market trends. Prior to joining E-Space Amy served as Vice President for US Government Affairs and Policy for satellite broadband provider Viasat, working with global stakeholders on international and domestic policies related to space sustainability and market access. During this time Amy was a U.S. government-appointed delegate to the 2019 World Radiocommunication Conference. For nearly two decades before joining Viasat, Amy was President of Mehlman Capitol Strategies, a boutique telecommunications public policy firm she founded specializing in satellite industry challenges. Amy started her career at the Washington DC law firm Wiley, Rein & Fielding(WRF) where she helped leading innovative companies in the wireless, satellite, telecom equipment, and broadcast sectors shape the historic Telecommunications Act of 1996 and navigate the Internet bubble. Amy graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in International Politics.
