Sophia Malandraki - Miller

Sophia Malandraki-Miller, DPhil/PhD, is a Senior Scientist in Therapeutic Discovery at e-therapeutics PLC since April 2021. Prior to this role, Sophia served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Oxford and OxStem Ltd, focusing on small molecule drug discovery for heart repair. Sophia has also held positions as a Junior Research Fellow and College Advisor at Wolfson College, Oxford, and was the Project Lead for OxStem Cardio. Sophia completed a DPhil/PhD at the University of Oxford as a Clarendon Scholar, specializing in stem cell research and cardiovascular regenerative medicine, and holds an MSc in Applied Biology & Biotechnology from the University of Ioannina. Early research experience includes internships at the University General Hospital of Heraklion and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, where Sophia worked on hematopoiesis and the characterization of a protein related to dyslexia, respectively.
