Rolle Alho has extensive work experience in research and academia. They started their career as a Researcher at the University of Helsinki in 2005 and continued in various research roles until 2021. During this period, they also worked as a Visiting Researcher at The WZB Berlin Social Science Center in 2013. In 2016, they held the position of Senior Advisor at The Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers (FUURT) and later worked as a Country Expert for Eurofound, providing research-based knowledge on employment issues in Finland. From 2017 until 2022, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä. In 2021, they also worked as a Specialist Researcher at the Industrial Union. Currently, they are a Senior Researcher at E2 Tutkimus / E2 Research, starting from October 2022.
Rolle Alho completed a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the University of Turku from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned an MSc in sociology from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2003. Rolle Alho began their undergraduate studies at the University of Helsinki but the specific start year is unknown. Rolle obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Helsinki. In 2004, they attended Hanken School of Economics for a short period and studied Basics of marketing.
