Vanessa Chicas is a skilled professional with significant experience in advocacy, education, and customer service. Currently serving as a Grant Specialist at E4E Relief since August 2022, Vanessa previously held the position of Interpreter/Secretary at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where advocacy for immigrant and Spanish-speaking families was a key focus. Vanessa's career also includes roles such as Archives Specialist at Duke Energy Corporation, Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and various positions in customer service and educational support. Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from accredited institutions.
