Nick Castoria

Nick is a Managing Director of Fund Solutions at E78 Partners. Nick joined E78 through the acquisition of Agile Fund Solutions LLC., where he was the Founder and COO.

Nick has extensive experience with the financial and operational administration of domestic and offshore hedge funds, fund of funds, managed accounts, and related investments. Through his past experiences as Chief Financial Officer of two $500mm+ hedge fund operations, plus his public accounting audit, fund administration and tax experience, Nick brings hands-on experience that is unique and tailored for an outsourced CFO/COO model.

Prior to founding Agile, Nick served as CFO/COO for two Bay Area hedge funds: Origin Capital Management, a $600mm-peak asset long/short equities and options healthcare fund affiliated with Soros Fund Management, from 2006 to 2008; and Enable Capital Management, a $500mm-peak asset PIPEs fund, from 2008 to 2009. At each fund, Nick was responsible for the overall financial reporting, daily operations, and investor relations functions. Nick has significant experience with the creation and management of daily trade and risk management reporting systems, trade execution and reconciliation, daily and monthly fund P&L calculations, and monthly investor NAV reporting. As CFO/COO, Nick selected and managed all outside professional relationships including outside audit and tax firms, fund administrators, prime brokers, and legal counsels. At Origin, Nick oversaw the entire in-house administration services for its onshore and offshore funds. He also served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Origin while it was an SEC-registered investment adviser.

Nick graduated from Bryant University with a BS in Accounting and a minor in Psychology, and is a Certified Public Accountant, inactive, in the state of California.
