Michael Whalon

Michael Whalon has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Michael began their career at Merrell Dow, Inc. in 1984 as a Scientist I and eventually became a Scientist III/Group Leader. Michael then moved to Marion Merrell Dow, Inc., where they held the role of Scientist III/Group Leader. In 1995, they joined Hoechst Marion Roussel, Inc. as a Research Scientist. In 1999, they joined Quintiles as an Executive Director in Small Molecule Analytical Chemistry. In 2003, they moved to Beckloff Associates as an Executive Director, specializing in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Michael later worked at ABC Laboratories as a Senior Program Manager, Director of CMC Analytical, and Senior Director of Operations. Since 2016, they have held similar positions at EAG Laboratories and Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing. Michael Whalon recently retired in 2018. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in pharmaceutical research and development, quality control, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Michael Whalon earned a BS in Chemistry from Ball State University in 1978. Michael then went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Structural Chemistry from the University of Vermont in 1984. Before college, they attended Anderson High School from 1968 to 1971.
