Justin Bender

Justin Bender has extensive experience in various roles within the technology and engineering field. Justin currently serves as the Director of Automation & AI at EAG since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ferguson Enterprises as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering from 2021 to 2023. Justin also held positions at GeoComputing Group LLC as a Consulting Project Manager in 2021 and at Harvey | Harvey-Cleary Builders as the Director of IT & Applications from 2020 to 2021. Before their time at Harvey | Harvey-Cleary Builders, they were the Manager of Enterprise Applications at Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation from 2018 to 2020. Justin also has experience at BHP as the Principal Business Applications Americas from 2016 to 2018 and as the Support Lead for Business Applications from 2011 to 2016. Justin started their career at Southwestern Energy Company as a Business Analyst and later as a Data Analyst in Operations. Prior to that, they worked at ExxonMobil as an Engineering Data Analyst in Operations. Justin began their professional career in the United States Marine Corps as an Avionics Shop Supervisor and Sergeant of Marines.

Justin Bender received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Houston-Downtown. Justin also has additional certifications in Prosci Change Management from Prosci and Corporate/Professional Training Certification from Texas A&M University. Additionally, Justin completed coursework in Instructional Design and Workforce Development and Training with the Bob Pike Training Group in 2007-2008.
