David Brennan

David Brennan has a diverse work experience in the field of packaging engineering. David started their career as a Packaging Intern at Unilever HPC in 2007, where they gained hands-on experience in creating and developing new packaging specifications. David also performed various test protocols for packaging qualification and collaborated with external vendors for component development.

After their internship, David joined Unilever Foodsolutions as a Contract Packaging Engineer in 2009. Here, they updated specifications to harmonize with global standards and provide useful information for customers in the foodservice industry.

In 2010, David worked as a Packaging Engineer at MCS Industries, the market leader for wall and poster frames in the US, where they continued to gain expertise in packaging engineering.

Later in 2010, David joined Unilever as a Packaging Engineer, focusing on developing structural and flexible packaging for savory food products. David conducted tests to ensure packaging met standardized ASTM and ISTA requirements and delivered innovative pack designs using globally approved materials.

In 2011, David joined Hormel Foods as a Packaging Scientist. Here, they played a key role in developing and testing packaging for various brands and products, including Skippy, Lloyd's, Fully Cooked Entrees, Private Label Hormel products, and industrial packaging. David also collaborated with subsidiaries to develop packaging solutions for their businesses, while challenging suppliers to generate cost savings projects.

David then moved to SC Johnson in 2019, where they worked as a Senior Packaging Engineer. David held this position until 2021 and was responsible for developing packaging solutions for the company.

From 2020 to 2022, David worked as a Technical Services Manager at American Pinball, Inc. Here, they utilized their technical expertise and managerial skills to oversee technical services related to pinball machines.

Currently, David Brennan is a Packaging Engineer at Eagle Family Foods, a position they started in November 2022.

David Brennan attended Michigan State University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging.
