Andy Roebuck

Andy Roebuck has a diverse background in IT and information security. Andy is currently the Director of IT & Information Security at Eagle Genomics, where they have expanded and harmonized IT and security strategies. Andy collaborates with stakeholders at all levels to deliver high-value IT solutions aligned with ISO 27001 compliance. Prior to this role, they were the Information Technology Manager at Eagle Genomics, where they started a new IT team and aligned business and IT strategies to deliver key projects.

Before joining Eagle Genomics, Andy worked at Synaptics Incorporated as the Head of Information Technology, responsible for the global IT function and delivery of company IT strategy. Andy also worked as the IT Manager at Synaptics. Prior to that, Andy was at AVEVA, where they served as the IT Services Manager overseeing the delivery of IT services and technical solutions to all areas of the business. Andy also held roles as IT Services Team Lead, IT Systems Administrator, and IT Support Engineer at AVEVA.

Andy's earlier experience includes roles as an IT Support Engineer at Poynter Professional Services Limited and TRO, as well as a Service Manager at Anglia Auto Centre.

Andy Roebuck obtained an HNC in Software Engineering from City College Norwich from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they have acquired numerous certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2022, Certified ISO27001 ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) from IBITGQ in 2022, Microsoft Windows Server 2016 MCSA in 2017, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level from Amazon Web Services in 2016, CCNA and CCNA Voice from Cisco in 2009, and various other certifications from Microsoft, Checkpoint, VMware, and ITIL.
