Bettina Goerner

Bettina Goerner is currently an advisor at Eagle Genomics Ltd. Prior to that, they were a Non Executive Director at deepmatter from March 2019 to March 2021. Bettina has also been Investor & Board of Directors at PhagoMed Biopharma GmbH since January 2018 (acquired by BioNTech in Oct 2021). From October 2014 to February 2021, they were Managing Director Data Products at Springer Nature, where they were responsible for the business unit's P&L and for product development, portfolio management, and commercialization of Springer Nature's data products and services for R&D in material sciences, life sciences, and drug development. Bettina was also VP Business Development & Business Model Innovation for new Markets at Springer Nature from September 2013 to October 2014.

Bettina Goerner received their undergraduate degree from the University of Tübingen. Bettina then attended Harvard Medical School for their medical degree. After completing their medical degree, they attended London Business School for executive education in M&A, accounting, and finance. Finally, they received their MSc from the Max Planck Society.
