Ina Katherine Buckley

Ina Katherine Buckley is the Director at Eagle Hill. Prior to their current position, they were the Program Manager - Voice of America at Broadcasting Board of Governors from July 2008 to August 2016. In their previous role, they oversaw the phased implementation of the agency's largest contract portfolio, providing mission-critical personnel and management services for one-third of the agency's workforce. Ina also supervised the performance of a $33 million portfolio of contracts that were transitioned to date and strategized funding and schedule for the implementation of the remaining acquisitions portfolio.

Ms. Buckley has established policies, plans, and management structures necessary to ensure compliant contract administration. Ina has also built relationships with agency managers, senior leadership, and key contractor staff to facilitate successful contract performance. Additionally, they have identified additional opportunities to rationalize agency contracting practices. Some of their key accomplishments include successfully implementing 50% of the overall portfolio in the first year, ahead of schedule in the planned 3-year transition timeframe; coordinating with the CFO and agency leadership to secure funding for contracts; executing contracts with no loss of personnel, despite anticipated losses of roughly 25%; and developing a communications strategy in anticipation of congressional and media scrutiny.

Ina Katherine Buckley has a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University with a focus in International Policy and Development. Ina also has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Conflict Studies from DePauw University. In addition, they have certification from the IASSC in Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional, and from the Federal Acquisition Institute in Contracting Officer's Representative.

They are on a team with Andy Shuler - Director, Susan Nealon - Chief Marketing Officer, and Rebecca Combs - Director. Ina Katherine Buckley reports to Melissa Jezior, President & CEO.
