Sophie Caligiuri

Sophie Caligiuri is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in community engagement and music journalism. Currently serving as a Community Writer and Copy Editor for SLUG Magazine, Sophie produces content that highlights the vibrant Salt Lake City community and assists with the editing of both online and print articles. Additionally, Sophie contributes music-related articles for Salt Lake City Weekly, showcasing local and national scenes. Previous roles include Freelance Writer, Assistant Director at Westminster College, and Team Lead for the Dumke Center for Civic Engagement. Sophie holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Minor in English from Westminster University, where significant contributions to diversity initiatives and student writing support were made.
