Andrew King

Andrew King has extensive experience in aquatic coaching and environmental operations, currently serving as a Swim Coach at Avon Recreation Center and a Water Operator at Eagle River Water and Sanitation District since 2020 and 2021, respectively. Previous roles include Environmental Attendant at Vail Resorts, Sustainability Intern at Walking Mountains Science Center, and various positions within the swim coaching domain at Patriot Aquatic Club, Swim Across America, Inc., and Hawthorn Woods Country Club. Andrew holds a degree in waste management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where coursework included environmental biogeochemistry, water chemistry, and waste management fundamentals, complemented by a natural resources holistic study. Additional experience in hospitality as a waiter and cook at Rusty's Backwater Saloon and as a lifeguard at Palatine Park District rounds out a diverse professional background.
