David Norris

David Norris has a diverse work experience in various government organizations and departments in the state of Colorado. David started their career in 2012 as the Chief Accountant at the Colorado Department of Agriculture, where they worked until 2015. David then joined the Department of Personnel and Administration as an Accountant (Reporting Analyst) from 2015 to 2015. David continued their tenure with the same department as the Deputy Controller from 2015 to 2016. After that, Norris worked as the Controller/CFO at the Office of the Governor - State of Colorado from 2016 to 2018. David then moved on to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where they held multiple roles, including Interim Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and eventually Chief Financial Officer from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are employed as the Director of Finance at the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District from November 2020 to January 2022, and then promoted to the role of Director of Business Administration, starting from January 2022.

David Norris earned a Master's degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Northern Colorado, where they studied from 2005 to 2007.
