Wilfried Schmitz

Wilfried Schmitz is an experienced sales manager with a robust background in the engineering and automation sectors. Currently serving as Regional Sales Manager at EAO since June 2016, Schmitz oversees sales and key account management in the region between Frankfurt and Stuttgart/Saarbrücken. Prior experience includes significant roles at Schneider Electric from January 1996 to April 2016, where Schmitz held positions such as Manager Coordination Sales Support Germany and National Account Manager for Ford and GM (Opel). Additional experience encompasses leadership and technical roles at AEG Schneider Automation and AEG Aktiengesellschaft, with a foundational start in product support at BBC (now ABB) during the development of HMI systems. Schmitz holds a Diplom Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and a Journeyman's certificate in electrical work.
