Daniel Saragnese has a long and varied work experience. In 2007, they were an Early Identification Program Intern at GE Healthcare, a Conservation Science Intern at The Walters Art Museum, and a Researcher at Johns Hopkins University - Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In 2008, they continued their research position at Johns Hopkins University. In 2009, they were a Space Systems Intern at Lockheed Martin. In 2010, they began working at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a R&D Process Engineer and a Global Operations Leadership Development Associate. In 2014, they were a Business Development Intern at Catalent Pharma Solutions. In 2015, they continued their work at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a New Product Introduction, Continuous Manufacturing and a Product Manager, OptiForm™ Solution Suite. In 2017, they became the Director, External Manufacturing at Graybug Vision, Inc. where they executed technology transfer, delivered Ph2 clinical trial material, led an IND amendment and coordinated CMC response to FDA questions, established a budget for CMC, consolidated the final product configuration, scaled up GMP manufacturing campaign, brought production skid in-house, and devised a Monte Carlo simulation of enrollment and rescue treatments. In 2019, they were a Senior Director, External Manufacturing at Ashvattha Therapeutics, Inc. and in 2022, they became the Head of Manufacturing at Earli Inc., a biotechnology company focused on making cancer that is detected early, localizable and therefore treatable.

Daniel Saragnese obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Daniel then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Strategy from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. In July 2011, they obtained a certification in Basics of Supply Chain Management from APICS.
