Mohammed Goryawala has a strong background in research and imaging, with experience in both academic and industry settings. Mohammed is currently working as a Senior Scientist in Molecular Imaging at Earli Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, including Assistant Professor from November 2017 to November 2022, Assistant Scientist from April 2015 to November 2017, and Postdoctoral Researcher from April 2014 to April 2015. Their work at the university focused on multi-modal brain imaging using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for brain lesions, with a particular interest in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) imaging. Mohammed collaborated with Siemens to implement new imaging methods and tissue classification methods. Before joining the University of Miami, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Florida International University from April 2012 to March 2014.
Mohammed Goryawala completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from South Gujarat University between 2002 and 2006. Mohammed then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University from 2006 to 2007. Mohammed went on to complete their highest level of education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University between 2008 and 2012.
