Sinead Keenan is the Policy & Research Manager at Early Childhood Ireland. Sinead has over fifteen years of experience in the social policy sector. Sinead has a keen interest in early childhood development and the provision of supports for families.

Sinead started their career as a researcher and policy advisor with Crosscare, an Irish social care charity. In this role, they were responsible for conducting programme evaluations, redesigning data collection mechanisms, developing assessment tools to measure programme impact and outcomes, and coordinating policy submissions to relevant government departments.

Sinead has also worked as a Senior Policy Officer with the Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed and as a Policy Analyst with the Department of Social Protection. In these roles, they advised on policy development and implementation, undertook research and analysis, and advised on service delivery issues.

Sinead holds a Masters in Social Policy from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Sinead Keenan has a Master of Social Science in Sociology from University College Dublin, a Bachelor's Degree in Arts (Hons International) from University College Dublin, and a Leaving Certificate from Holy Faith Secondary School Clontarf.

They are on a team with Danielle Santanna - Research Officer, Lucy Hayes - Policy Officer. Sinead Keenan reports to Frances Byrne, Director of Policy, Advocacy & Campaigning.
