Desiree Smith

Desiree Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Desiree began their career at the University of Phoenix as a Payroll Specialist and Faculty Recruiter. Desiree then worked as an HR Generalist/Recruiter at Randstad(on-site at Vanguard), where they managed client relationships and full life cycle recruiting.

Desiree then moved on to Pacific Dental Services as a Human Resources Generalist, handling employee coaching, disciplinary actions, and complaint investigations. Desiree later joined United Blood Services as an HR Generalist, where they managed employee relations, benefits administration, and staffing processes.

Desiree continued their career at Mobile Mini Inc as a Sales Recruiter, responsible for full life cycle recruiting and building relationships with internal managers and external candidates. Desiree then joined Freedom Financial Network as a Senior Recruiter, working with hiring teams to attract top talent and forecast staffing needs.

Desiree's next role was as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner at SiteLock, where they implemented branding and college recruitment strategies. Their most recent position was as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Optima Tax Relief, where they developed talent acquisition strategies, established KPIs, and created a marketing and brand strategy.

Desiree is currently working as Director Talent Acquisition at Early Warning®, where they oversee talent acquisition efforts. Throughout their career, Desiree has consistently demonstrated their expertise in talent acquisition, recruitment strategies, employee relations, and building strong relationships with clients and candidates.

Desiree Smith, MSL, PHR has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Arizona. Desiree also holds a Certificate of Middle Eastern Studies from the same university. Furthermore, Desiree has a Master's Degree in Leadership from Grand Canyon University. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in April 2019.
