Cem Sertoglu is a partner at Earlybird, a venture capital firm based in Berlin. Cem has over 15 years of experience in the internet and technology industries.

Sertoglu began their career as a vice president at Farmer & Company, an investment bank in New York. Cem then co-founded SelectMinds, a social networking software company that was acquired by Oracle in 2012.

After SelectMinds, Sertoglu founded Young Turk Ventures, a personal investment vehicle focused on early stage internet ventures in the Turkish and EMEA markets. Some of their notable investments include YemekSepeti (acquired by Delivery Hero) and GittiGidiyor (acquired by eBay).

In 2015, Sertoglu joined Earlybird as a partner. Earlybird is one of the leading venture capital firms in Europe, with a focus on digital technology companies.

Cem Sertoglu has a BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and a degree from Robert College.
