Alexandru-Cornel Georgescu

Alexandru-Cornel Georgescu started their work experience as a Java Developer intern at SC CPM MEDIA DIVE SRL in October 2012. Alexandru-Cornel then worked as a Software Engineer at Axway from June 2013 to June 2017, where they were responsible for creating unit tests, automated tests, integration tests, and implementing functionalities in various programming languages. Alexandru-Cornel also developed tools for automatic creation of jobs, branches, and repositories using Jenkins, GitLab, and Artifactory APIs.

From June 2017 to October 2019, Alexandru-Cornel worked as a NodeJS Developer at Pionix Marketing Solutions. In this role, they focused on developing NodeJS applications and creating internal tools to ease manual testing.

Alexandru-Cornel then joined Cognizant Softvision as a Lead Software Engineer in November 2019 and worked there until September 2021. In this position, they had responsibilities related to leading software engineering projects.

From September 2021 to April 2022, Alexandru-Cornel worked as a Software Engineer at SMARTX NET APPS. Here, they developed a Slack bot, an in-memory queue implementation, an Express server, and various Bash scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Alexandru-Cornel also reviewed code and pull requests and worked on release workflows and pipelines in Jenkins.

Currently, Alexandru-Cornel Georgescu is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Earn.re, starting in April 2022.

Alexandru-Cornel Georgescu began their education in 2005 at Colegiul National "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" in Ploiesti, where they focused on mathematics and physics. Alexandru-Cornel continued their studies in 2009 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Bucharest, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. In 2012, Georgescu enrolled in Infoacademy in Bucharest, Romania, to study fundamentals of SQL/MySQL and database management. During the same year, they also obtained certification as an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle.
