Kate C. is a seasoned UX researcher and design expert currently serving as a UX Researcher in Experience Design and Research at Northern Trust Wealth Management since May 2024. Kate also operates as a self-employed consultant and fractional leader, engaging with early-stage ventures and small SaaS teams to drive insights and create repeatable systems that enhance product and marketing success. As the founder of Season and Color, Kate promotes sustainable floral design through a farmer-florist business. Additionally, Kate acts as an Independent Investment Scout for Calm Company Fund, sourcing entrepreneurs in profitable, sustainable sectors. Previous roles include senior UX research positions at Human Interest and M1 Finance, along with extensive experience in user research and design at companies such as Paylocity, Morningstar, and HSBC. Kate holds a Master of Design Methods from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University.
