Rebecca Heilig

Director of Carbon-free Construction at Earth Advantage

As a New England native, Rebecca was drawn to the wilderness and ski slopes of the Pacific Northwest and settled in Portland in 2001 to attend Lewis & Clark College. Her interest in sustainable development began in 2005 when she prepared a college thesis exploring the social and economic benefits of sustainable building in low-income housing. Her career began shortly thereafter when she led the Program Management Department for Green Hammer Design Build providing green program and utility incentive consulting. Beginning in 2010, her love of surfing brought her to San Diego where she began employment with Energy Inspectors, Inc. as an Energy Consultant. Over the next 10 years her role developed to VP of Sales, EVP of Sales & Marketing, and beginning in February of 2019, President. She worked alongside management to grow the company from 20 to 250 people. In 2020, Rebecca began at Quality Built, LLC as the Director of Sustainability where she created an energy modeling and inspections department. In 2021 she was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. In 2022, she, her husband, and 2-year-old daughter returned 'home' to Portland where she recently began the role of Director of Carbon-free Construction for Earth Advantage.
