Benjamin Tuttle

Benjamin Tuttle has worked in the geospatial and technology industries for over 20 years. In 2001, they began their career at NOAA as a GIS/RS Scientist. In 2007, they joined Waterstone, Inc. as a Geospatial Developer. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in various roles, including Director of Outposts, Head of Product & Engineering (GEOINT Services), Mobile Apps Team Lead, and R&D Scientist. From 2019 to 2022, they served as Chief Technology Officer at arturo.ai, an AI property analytics company. Benjamin currently works at GeoOutlook, LLC as Principal, consulting on geospatial data, technology, analytics, and strategy, with a focus on remote sensing, AI/ML/DL & Predictive Analytics, mobile & web applications, and fusing new technology & data to deliver enhanced decision/policy making and tactical solutions across multiple markets. Benjamin also holds the role of VP of Product, Software, & Some Other Stuff at EOI Space.

Benjamin Tuttle attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a BA in Geography & Environmental Science. Benjamin then pursued a MS in GIS from University of Denver from 2005 to 2007. Subsequently, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography from University of Denver from 2007 to 2012.
