Michael Lauko

Michael Lauko has four years of professional experience in the IT industry. In 2013, they began working as a Project Manager for Vanio Solutions s.r.o., where they were responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a SIS for an Architectural Institute in Prague, as well as the development and maintenance of a complex system used for monitoring fleet and machinery. In 2017, they joined BSC PRAHA as a Business Analyst, where they delivered features from initial requirements gathering, cooperated on visual deliverables, conducted integration analysis, refined specifications for front-end and back-end, and provided developer handoff and support. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Freelancing IT Analyst on various projects in online retail banking across three continents. Michael also worked closely with stakeholders and the Product Owner on features and user stories. Currently, they are a Product Owner & Business Analyst at Earthbanc, working on a banking solution for retail clients with a focus on the MENA region.

Michael Lauko obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economic Informatics from Mendel University in Brno between 2006 and 2009. Michael then continued their studies at Mendel University, graduating with a Master's degree in Economic Informatics in 2013. In November 2020, they obtained a Visual Elements of User Interface Design certification from the California Institute of the Arts. In April 2021, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
