Rishabh Khanna

Co-Founder and Chief Impact Officer at Earthbanc

Rishabh Khanna has been working in the field of environmental sustainability since 2007. Rishabh began their career as a Research Analyst and National Campaign Manager at the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology. In 2008, they became the Director of Environment and Economy at Initiatives of Change. From 2009-2011, they held the position of Funding Director and National Steering Committee Member of the Indian Youth Climate Network. In 2011, they joined EnvironmentalhealthMatters as a Strategic Connector. From 2013-2016, they were a Programme Associate at Initiatives of Change Sweden, where they trained with Bhav Patel on Inside Out Leadership, trained with Kiran Gandhi on Heart of Effective Leadership, and trained with Mindfulness Group Sweden on being a Mindfulness Instructor. Rishabh also delivered experiential trainings in Caux, Switzerland called Leading Change for Sustainable World, and delivered the same trainings to youth and business leaders in India. In 2016, they became the Assistant Manager at Kista folkhögskola, where they worked on the Migrants and Refugees as Re-Builders project. In 2019, they co-founded Earthbanc and is currently the Chief Impact Officer.

Rishabh Khanna's education history includes completing a Msc in Economic Development from the University of Glasgow in 2006-2007, a PG Diploma in International Law and Diplomacy from the Indian Society of International Law in 2011-2012, a PG Diploma in Environmental Law from the Indian Law Institute in 2010-2011, and a High School degree from The Shri Ram School in 1989-2003. Rishabh is currently enrolled in a program to obtain a Certified Impact Auditor from the Verify Agency of Sweden in 2021-2022, with a focus on ISO 26000 (Sustainability reporting). Additionally, they have also completed an Instructor program in Mindfulness from a Mindfulness group.
