Alok Disa is a Senior Research & Policy Analyst at EARTHJUSTICE. Alok has over 8 years of experience in the energy sector, conducting research and analysis on policy options and business options related to natural gas and other energy issues. In their previous role as Manager, Stakeholder Engagement at Future 500, they were responsible for managing corporate and NGO stakeholder outreach related to energy issues. Alok has also worked as a Research Assistant at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, where they researched and drafted a chapter on American environmental politics for publication. Additionally, they developed a case study on Japan’s use of nuclear power following the 2011 crisis.
Alok Disa is a Columbia SIPA graduate with a Master of International Affairs in Environmental Policy and Management. Prior to that, they completed a dual degree at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a B.S. in Mathematics as well as a B.A. in Alok'story and Political Science.
