Cassidy Childs

Cassidy Childs is a Senior Research and Policy Analyst at Earthjustice, specializing in the Right to Zero initiative since January 2024. Previously, Cassidy held roles as a Policy Analyst and Research Associate at the Center for American Progress, where efforts focused on international climate justice, including organizing events at COP27 and publishing research on climate policy accessibility. Additional experience includes serving as a Graduate Consultant at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, where Cassidy developed an Equity and Affordability Screening Tool, and as an Environmental Justice Intern at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, contributing to the implementation of the Justice40 initiative. Cassidy's background also features positions at the Earth Institute, University of California, and various advocacy organizations, complemented by a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and dual degrees in Political Science and Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley.
