Yasmeen Smalley-Norman

Yasmeen Smalley-Norman is the marketing manager at EARTHJUSTICE, a position they have held since October 2021.

Smalley-Norman has nearly a decade of experience in communications and marketing, having served as the communications manager at the US Water Alliance from April 2020 to October 2021, and as the marketing and communications manager at the Coral Reef Alliance from February 2018 to April 2020.

At the US Water Alliance, Smalley-Norman was responsible for managing the organization's external communications strategies. Yasmeen also introduced new processes and project management systems to increase the capacity of the three-person team.

At the Coral Reef Alliance, Smalley-Norman executed marketing and communications strategies to meet organizational goals in a newly-developed five-year strategic plan. Yasmeen also created and owned CORAL's content marketing plan and content editorial calendar, and produced and managed all visual collateral, including annual reports, editorial magazines, monthly newsletters, blog and social media.

Yasmeen Smalley-Norman has a BFA and BS in Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology. Yasmeen also has certification from Padi in Divemaster, U.S. Department of State in 2016 - 2017 Fulbright Scholarship Finalist, Red Cross in First Aid & CPR, and PADI in Rescue Diver.

Their manager is Steve Smith, SVP, Communications & Marketing. They work with Ray Wan - VP, Communications & Marketing, Lisa Pradhan - Communications Leadership Team Manager.
