Andrew Walston, EIT, has a varied work experience. In 2011, they worked as an Aftercare Worker at Friendship Baptist Church, where they maintained a safe play environment, observed and monitored children's activities, assisted in recreational activities, and helped children with homework or school work. In 2013, they worked as an Automobile Detailer at Bob Jones University, where they were responsible for vacuum, power washing, window, dash, console, and other vehicle cleaning, as well as pickup, refueling, and delivery of vehicles. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Hinde Engineering Inc. as a CADD Technician, where they designed and drafted CAD files for local and state municipalities, and used computer assisted design/drafting software to develop designs. Andrew also worked at KCI Technologies, Inc./Insight Global as a Design Technician, where they completed power/electrical distribution design work in Microstation, designing overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities. Currently, they are a Hardware Engineer Specialist at EarthOptics.
Andrew Walston, EIT, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a mechanical focus from Bob Jones University in 2017. In April 2017, they also obtained the Fundamentals of Engineering-Other Disciplines certification from NCEES.
