Clayton Honeycutt

Sensor Support Manager at EarthOptics

Clayton Honeycutt has held two positions in the past three years. In 2020, they were the Field R&D Manager and Field Operations Manager at EarthOptics, where they led the field R&D team focused on asset management and sensor use, provided sensor/product support for the EO team and their customers, and developed and maintained field sampling protocols. Clayton also led field data collection efforts using standoff precision technology to determine soil health, managed a 10+ person team of field technicians, and troubleshooted various sensor and equipment issues. In 2017, they were a Program Assistant for the North Carolina FFA Association, where they developed leadership curriculum, planned state-wide leadership conferences, designed various logos and paraphernalia, and coordinated a large scale trade show.

Clayton Honeycutt graduated from North Carolina State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Agricultural Engineering Technology. Clayton attended the university from 2016 to 2020.
