Ryan Arends has over twenty years of experience in operations and logistics management. Ryan began their career in 1998 as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, where they served as the Brigade Logistics Officer, Service Detachment Commander and Infantry Officer. In 2011, they joined Chesapeake Energy as a Business Manager, where they were responsible for 10 administrative personnel, financial reporting analysis, budget and capital expenditure forecasting, cost and pricing analysis, and inventory management with over $2 million in inventory located in two facilities. In 2014, they moved to Terra Oilfield Solutions as a Regional Operations Manager, managing the second largest region for a $50 million oilfield services company with full P&L responsibility, forecasting of yearly budget, and generating over $14 million in annual revenue. In 2017, they joined Eaton as a Logistics Manager, responsible for the distribution, receiving, inventory control, and material handling for a high-volume manufacturing facility that produces over 300,000 hydraulic motors and generates over $138 million annually. In 2019, they joined Giant Oil Tools, USA as the General Manager - US. Most recently, in 2023, they joined EarthOptics as the Senior Vice President Operations.

Ryan Arends obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 1993 and 1998. Ryan then went on to earn a Masters in Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
