Clifford Sikora

General Counsel & Head of Regulatory at Earthrise Energy

Clifford Sikora has extensive work experience in the legal field, particularly in the energy sector and regulatory matters. Clifford is currently serving as the General Counsel & Head of Regulatory at Earthrise Energy since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Troutman Pepper for 24 years, starting in October 1996 and holding the position of Partner until January 2020. In addition, Sikora served as the Department Chair for Energy at Troutman Sanders LLP from January 2014 to March 2016. Clifford also held various leadership roles at Troutman Sanders LLP, including Section Chief for Energy & Industry Regulation and Practice Group Leader for Federal Regulation of Electricity & Natural Gas. Before joining Troutman Sanders LLP, Sikora worked as Of Counsel at the same firm and served as Counsel for the Committee on Energy & Natural Resources at the United States Senate. Clifford began their career as a Legal Advisor and later became a Supervisory Attorney at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Clifford Sikora began their education in 1980 at Cornell University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations. Clifford completed their undergraduate studies in 1984. Following this, Sikora attended the University of Delaware from 1984 to 1986, earning a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Urban Studies/Affairs. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Dayton School of Law in 1986 and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in 1989.
