Engineer II at EarthScope Consortium

Brett Baker is an experienced engineer currently serving at EarthScope Consortium since July 2023. Previously, as Senior Data Manager at One Concern from July 2018 to December 2022, Brett focused on building data sets for AI/ML models in the natural disaster sector. Prior roles include Customer Strategist at One Concern, and Adjunct Faculty in Engineering Departments at Cañada College and Evergreen Valley College, teaching various engineering subjects. Brett's earlier experience includes engineering geology at Santa Clara Valley Water District, where responsibilities encompassed planning, design, and data management for water supply facilities, and senior surveying roles involving GPS data collection. With a Master’s degree in Geology/Neotectonics from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from San Francisco State University, Brett has also held significant positions in customer marketing and sales management at technology firms such as SiRF Technology, Inc., and Trimble Navigation.
