Che Ellis

Che Ellis has worked in the tech industry since 2016. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer Intern at ixora health, where they used JavaScript for both front-end and back-end development for the company's startup project "Ellie". Che also developed an API that used jQuery to navigate SilverRide's website or Lyft's API. In 2017, Che worked as a Coding Instructor and Camp Counselor at CAMP EDMO, where they instructed groups of tech-savvy campers on programming concepts and languages (Java, Javascript). In 2018, they worked as a Web Application Developer Intern at AbbVie, where they improved data analytics efficiency through development of customized web apps and improved performance of existing web apps by adding new features. In 2019, they worked as a Robotic Process Automation Engineer at AbbVie. Currently, Che is a Software Engineer at EarthSense, Inc., where they are responsible for fixing bugs, improving existing and adding more features for the semi-autonomous, data collecting, robots.

Che Ellis attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
