Shannon Klier

Shannon Klier is an Engineer with over 25 years of industry experience, primarily in the Permian Basin of West Texas, Southeast New Mexico, East Texas and the Anadarko and Arkoma basins. He has served as Vice President of Completions and Production for Earthstone Energy since January 2020. Previously, he served as Earthstone’s Production Manager. Prior to Earthstone, Mr. Klier was a partner in Bold Energy III and Bold Energy II, where he served as Production Manager and Operations Engineering Manager respectively. Prior to Bold, Mr. Klier worked as a Senior Completions Engineer for Sierra Engineering from 1999 until joining Bold Energy, LP in April of 2006. Mr. Klier began his oilfield career in Elk City, Oklahoma with Dowell Schlumberger in 1996.

Mr. Klier has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. He earned his Professional Petroleum Engineering registration from the State of Oklahoma in 2002.
