Melissa Ostroff, MPH, currently serves as the Pennsylvania Policy and Field Advocate at EARTHWORKS, where responsibilities include advocating for stronger oil and gas regulations and investigating community concerns using optical gas imaging technology. Previous experience includes serving on Governor Josh Shapiro's Environment and Energy Advisory Committee, teaching assistant roles at the University of Pennsylvania, and the position of Associate Director for Health Policy at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. In addition, Melissa has held communications roles in the Pennsylvania State Senate and various legal aid organizations, showcasing a strong commitment to public health, environmental policy, and community advocacy. Melissa holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Philosophy from Franklin & Marshall College.
