Kathleen Deegan, MSIT

Kathleen Deegan, MSIT has a strong background in instructional design and technology. Kathleen began their career as a Workforce Training Intern at Geisinger Health System in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Jr Instructional Designer at Vatterott College and also held the role of Instructional Technology Graduate Assistant at Bloomsburg University.

Deegan joined the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2015 as an Instructional Designer. Kathleen later became a Senior Instructional Designer and was responsible for developing and maintaining online learning content for the highly ranked Online Bachelor of Business Administration program. Kathleen also designed faculty training resources, assisted in the development of the online learning website, and ensured content compliance with ADA standards.

In 2018, Deegan worked as a Canvas Trainer and Instructional Designer on contract at Instructure. Their responsibilities included providing comprehensive training on the Canvas Learning Management System to higher education and K12 users.

Currently, Deegan holds the position of Senior Learning Design Technologist at eLearning Innovation. Kathleen is also working as a Learning Designer on contract.

Kathleen Deegan, MSIT, obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the same institution. Unfortunately, the specific dates for their Communication Studies degree are not provided.
