Annie Halsema

Annie Halsema is an adjunct professor at Aurora University, overseeing the online masters of social work program and guiding graduate MSW students in their internships. Annie also works as a school social worker at Aurora East School District 131, providing support to special education and general education students, advocating for their needs, and facilitating interventions and crisis management. Previously, Annie has worked in similar roles at Belvidere Community Unit School District #100 and Hepzibah Children's Association. Annie holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from American College of Education, a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dominican University.
