Martha Arlette Cerda is an experienced naturalist and educator with a strong background in community engagement and stewardship within natural history. Currently serving as a Naturalist at East Bay Regional Park District since September 2022, Martha previously held the title of Community Engagement & Stewardship Program Manager at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, where responsibilities included managing interpretive programs and leading volunteer initiatives focused on environmental and social justice issues. Martha's extensive career includes roles at the City of Pleasanton, where a range of culturally inclusive interpretive programs were developed, along with teaching positions at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Slater Museum of Natural History. Martha holds Bachelor's degrees in Integrative Biology and Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley.
