Ernani J. DeAraujo

Ernani DeAraujo oversees EBNHC’s legal, compliance, and government affairs functions. In addition to these areas, Ernani will now oversee aspects of patient experience, including the contact center and referrals. Prior to joining EBNHC, Ernani previously served as the East Boston Liaison for the late Boston Mayor Tom Menino; as an attorney at Foley Hoag LLP; and as an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase.

A lifelong East Boston resident, Ernani stays engaged with several external organizations and committees, including the John William Ward Fellowship and the Boston Latin School Association. Ernani is also a past member of the Boston School Committee and is one of the few individuals to have served in both the Clinton and Bush White Houses, where he was an Intern under both Presidents. Ernani graduated from Harvard College and the Washington and Lee School of Law.
