Kelly Hennessy's work experience includes various roles at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. Kelly started as a Registered Nurse in July 2012 and later became a Nurse Practitioner in November 2015. Kelly then served as the Director of COVID-19 Testing from June 2020 to July 2021 and as the Director of COVID-19 Vaccination from January 2021 to July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Medical Director, Adult Medicine from July 2021. Additionally, Kelly had coaching experience at Reading Memorial High School, where they were the Head Coach for Freshman Field Hockey and Assistant Coach for Girls Varsity Ice Hockey from 2010 to 2012.
Kelly Hennessy's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, which was obtained between 2009 and 2012. Kelly later pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner at Regis College, completing it between 2013 and 2015. Currently, they are enrolled at Boston College pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, which started in 2022 and is expected to be completed by 2026. Furthermore, Kelly holds the certifications of FNP-C from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, obtained in 2015, and Registered Nurse from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), obtained in 2012.
