Lauren Sermons

Lauren Sermons, MA has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2011. Lauren began as a Human Resources Intern at West Pharmaceutical Services, followed by a role as a Marketing and Public Relations professional at Live Worldly. In 2013, they became a Talent Acquisition Assistant at Vail Resorts and later transitioned to a position as a Human Resources Administrator at Garretson Resolution Group. Lauren then pursued their Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology at UNC Charlotte, specializing in applying psychological principles to workplace issues. After completing their degree in 2016, they joined Carrier Corporation as a Human Resources Generalist, where they developed and implemented streamlined processes for onboarding and leave administration. Most recently, Lauren has been working at East Coast Metal Distributors, initially as a Human Resources Manager and currently as the Human Resources Director. In this role, they have been responsible for employee relations, internal investigations, and responding to legal complaints. Lauren also led the ADP Vantage implementation and managed the successful acquisition of Boles.

Lauren Sermons, MA, completed their education in a timely and progressive manner. Lauren first attended the College of Charleston from 2008 to 2010, focusing on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. After that, they transferred to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they received their Bachelor's degree in Management and Society in 2012. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Lauren pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2014 to 2016. Their education history showcases their commitment to acquiring knowledge in various disciplines related to business and psychology.
