Ben Barden

Ben Barden is a dedicated Physical Education Teacher at Hurstpierpoint College, where responsibilities include teaching Academic Physical Education and coaching the U15A Hockey programme. As the Talent Academy Lead Coach for Boys at East Grinstead Hockey Club, Ben has notably led teams to victories, including U18 Girls Indoor National Champions and Women’s Super Sixes Champions in 2024. Ben co-owns WCP Hockey, focusing on innovative equipment to promote accessibility in the sport. With previous roles in social media management, coaching development, and event coordination for the Commonwealth Games, Ben brings a wealth of experience, backed by a PGCE in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of Brighton and a degree in Sport, PE and Coaching Science from the University of Birmingham.
