Elaine Gorman

Elaine Gorman is a seasoned professional in education and human resources, currently serving as the DYW School Coordinator for East Lothian Council since 2021. Previously, Elaine held the position of Senior Education and Skills Manager at Business in the Community from 2014 to September 2020, where leadership in education initiatives across Scotland was demonstrated, including the management of the Lifeskills program with Barclays that aided over 11.2 million individuals. Before this, Elaine worked at Royal Mail from 2000 to 2014 as a Senior Regional Human Resources Manager, overseeing operations in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the North of England while also acting as a Talent and Development Manager. Elaine is an alumna of Heriot-Watt University.
