Kirsty Derry

Kirsty Derry serves as the HR Director at East Midlands Trains since March 2015, focusing on developing a People strategy that aligns with the company's goal of delivering excellent service. In addition, Kirsty is a Consulting Partner at Step Ahead HR & Training, providing support to leaders and HR teams in driving organizational change. As a part-time Visiting Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Heart of Worcestershire College, Kirsty shares expertise in the field. Previously, Kirsty held the position of Group HR Director at 2 Sisters Food Group, where responsibilities included HR strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and employee relations in a unionized environment, as well as HR Director roles at Molson Coors (UK) Ltd. and other organizations. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Nottingham Trent University and a BA Hons in Economic & Social History from the University of Bristol.
