James Gibson

Vice President For Enrollment Management at East Mississippi Community College

James Gibson has a wealth of experience in the field of enrollment management and financial aid. James started their career at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1978, where they served as the Director of Student Financial Aid for nearly two decades. In 1998, they moved to the University of Southern Mississippi and continued their role as the Director of Student Financial Aid until 2001. In the same year, they joined East Mississippi Community College, where they held the positions of Vice President for Financial Aid and later Vice President for Enrollment Management.

James Gibson completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Livingston University in the years 1967-1969. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of West Alabama between 1970-1972. Later, from 2004-2007, James furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in History (M.A.) from the University of West Alabama.
